Graymar Farms, located in Franklin, TN, is owned and operated by Robert Lipman, a polo player for 35 years. Graymar’s 275 acres include four polo fields, lush green pastures, and more than 90 head of world-class polo stock. The motto “we nurture and grow a good horse” exemplifies the start-to-finish process of breeding, raising and training the polo stock at Graymar, with the health of the horse as top priority. The breeding program at Graymar Farms offers stallion services from five proven polo studs, embryos from top polo mares, and young horses at various stages of training. The Graymar team, lead by general manager Bob Connors and South African polo pro Whistle Uys (5 goals), winters in south Florida at the Port Mayaca Polo Club where they keep approximately 30 head that are ready to hit the field for the polo season. Graymar horses have won many “best playing pony” awards and have competed in the country’s highest-rated tournament, the U.S. Open. Graymar Farms is proud to supply quality horses to the best players and teams in polo, such as Adolfo Cambiaso (10 goals, ranked #1 in the world), Facundo Pieres (10 goals), and the Orchard Hill polo team (winner of 2016 U.S. Open).
